The ONE DeKalb Works jobs initiative is a collaborative effort by the DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management, the Department of Purchasing and Contracting, and DeKalb Workforce Development.
The DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management has developed a $1.35 billion Capital Improvement Program (CIP) to ensure reliable delivery of water and wastewater services to customers. The CIP serves as the implementation platform for the ONE DeKalb Works initiative.
The DeKalb County Department of Purchasing and Contracting provides oversight of procurement related functions of the CIP to ensure maximum efficiency, productivity and value for each tax dollar spent.
DeKalb Workforce Development ensures citizens in DeKalb and neighboring counties are trained for jobs resulting from the CIP, and assists individuals in securing placement once the hiring process begins.
