Thanks Mom & Dad Fund® License Plates
A new specialty license plate is available to Georgia drivers that will benefit aging programs and services throughout the state.  The new “Thanks Mom & Dad” license plate will directly benefit programs through grants from the Thanks Mom & Dad Fund®.  It costs a little more but helps in so many ways.

Before the new tags can be placed on vehicles, 1,000 tags must first be prepurchased. 

HOW DOES THAT WORK 
A $25.00 one-time manufacturing fee is paid on deposit until 1,000 people apply for the specialty tag.  Thereafter, it is $45 annually which includes the $25 specialty tag fee and the regular annual tag fee. 

If the required number of ‘paid’ requests (1,000) is not received by the 2008 deadline, these tags will not be manufactured and the manufacturing fees will be refunded.

HOW TO SIGN UP

• Go to your county registration office to sign up and make the $25 deposit; or
• Visit the following website and download the application for mailing to your county tag office along with the $25 fee.
