Individuals against whom complaints may be filed with the Board of Ethics include the Chief Executive Officer, any Commissioner of DeKalb County, any member of a board who was appointed by the governing authority of DeKalb County, and any elected or appointed officer or employee of DeKalb County who is not covered by the merit system of DeKalb County. Those individuals who are specifically excluded from Board oversight by law include: the District Attorney, Superior and State Court Judges, the Solicitor of the State Court, Clerks of the Superior and State Courts, Judge of the Probate Court, and their respective staffs.
