Job Duties:
Under general supervision, investigates, provides follow-up, or provides adoption and placement services in cases of child abuse, neglect, and exploitation; determines the level of risk and takes appropriate action, or accepts cases from investigators and provides follow-up intervention, assessment, and case management. May provide resource development of foster and adopt families and completion of adoption studies or a Child Protective Services telephone intake and special investigations.
Qualifications:
- Social Services Case Manager/Specialist $31,474
- Masters of Social Work (MSW)
- Social Services Case Manager/Advanced $29,970
- Bachelors of Social Work (BSW) & 1 year social services experience or DFCS internship
- Social Services Case Manager $28,543
- Bachelors of Social Work (BSW)
All sscm positions require a 4 year degree there is no grand fathering and experience does not substitute for education.
